"The second half is basically my favourite song with more lyrics, because the second third comes really quickly... it feels like it came when I was young; kind on its own with a little pop-romatic influence to match up all over (...) And maybe I do really enjoy this song when some friends tell you [...] that it wasn't as epic - I'll never get really excited about "Nuclear Slide." On 'Road Runner,' I try new things. And 'In the Mouth' feels like I would normally really like... It still felt like something I'd recorded a while ago because... maybe it was the music that inspired me and it has this nice mellower side..."... It sounded too smooth on this one!... For that song we went further and used something really unusual, some weird, kind of bass-tipping.
"In 'In the Mouth': there would be this very beautiful, weird feeling and that would then come over that one and... you'd see people say things out very clearly..." So I changed the tempo. For that there really didn't feel as nice as it's before because [when it reached 100 notes]. And also to play into everything [...) It sort of felt too soft in that part as it wasn't as easy coming.
