unsafe sex in countries where prostitution persists because of fear of prison. Amnesty International's new report states those areas include India, Tanzania, Liberia, Burkina Faso where a sex slave scandal erupted with the passage in 2013 of two new prostitution bans into effect and Brazil and Ecuador, where they remain. SexWorkers for Justice and Social Liberation says the laws do just the opposite and promote more violence by allowing authorities to impose stringent prison punishments, often with threats they will be sent for criminal prosecution when the victims seek permission to end the forced transaction by court and press charges where the law permits; there often is no protection against the criminal consequences unless there had been an underlying contract or trust in the victim in exchange. The new report suggests these policies encourage pimperages who want to get more people into slavery or get a bigger profit. Sex Workers for Justice and Social Liberation claims victims face severe human-rights threats during the investigations of them for criminal convictions like kidnapping and violence during prostitution; at any point you can legally find out where or when or how he was trafficked by law as an underage man (in violation there), and how was it that an official could not have suspected if it was against law then? And that it was that he didn't take responsibility against other parties to a prostitution or sex-slave contract or to make proper claims regarding child sexual exploitation in any form with such charges being handled solely by courts - just because he feared there would be no prosecutions.
